Nico Technologies sponsored the website's design, development and rollout and worked with the school to bring its new digital home to life. The sponsorship continues beyond launch through future development and ongoing support. For us, it is a practical investment in a local institution and the families it serves: a clear, welcoming website makes trusted school information easier to find and easier to use.

Built around the JVR community
Laerskool Jan van Riebeeck is an Afrikaans primary school in Petersfield, Springs, serving learners from Grade R to Grade 7. The school has been part of its community since 1947 and describes its spirit in one word: Rotsvas.
The new website gives current and prospective families a central place to explore the school and get in touch. Visitors can now move directly to information about:
- the school, its values and leadership;
- academics from Grade R to Grade 7;
- sport and learner participation;
- culture and creative opportunities; and
- admissions, parent resources and the school's official contact details.
The experience is designed to work across phones, tablets and desktop screens, with straightforward navigation and direct routes to the information families use most.
A sponsored website with a long-term purpose
This project is more than a launch-day handover. The website identifies Nico Technologies as JVR's digital partner, and our sponsorship includes future development and ongoing support as the school's needs evolve.
Website hosting is not included in the Nico Technologies sponsorship. Hosting is provided separately by Corporate Network Solutions, our trusted infrastructure and networking partner.
The rollout brings together the work we value in every bespoke web development project: understanding the audience, structuring content clearly, building a responsive experience and preparing the site to be discovered through search engines and shared confidently on social platforms.
It also reflects the way we approach product development. Good technology should serve a real community, reduce friction and make the next action obvious—whether that is learning more about the school, finding an activity or contacting the office.
